SOS has been committed in providing community service to homeless individuals and families, the elderly and children since 2001.  In 2004 Sisters of Soul Book was recognized by the National Book Conference in Atlanta, GA for Outstanding Community Service.  We had the opportunity to meet and mingle with renowned authors such as Walter Mosley, Terry McMillan and the late Bebe Moore Campbell.
